This website is run by the Sussex MSK Partnership, made up of Here, Sussex Community Foundation Trust. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

Non-Compliance with the Accessibility Regulations

Many videos embedded in the site do not feature Audio Description so people with visual impairments cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Pre-Recorded)).

Many videos embedded in the site do not feature Sign Language Interpretation so people with auditory impairments cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.6 (Sign Language (Pre-Recorded)).

What we’re Doing to Improve Accessibility

As this is a newly published website we are open to and looking for feedback, especially regarding accessibility. We are planning to assess the feasibility of adding audio description and sign language interpretation to our videos.

This statement was prepared on 25th June 2020. It was last reviewed on 6th July 2020.

This website was last tested on 06 July 2020. The test was carried out by our own team including testers with accessibility needs.

We used this approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test. As this was the first publishing of the site we tested all pages and all navigation processes.
