This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons. Videos are linked or embedded that do not feature Audio Description, or Sign Language Interpreting.
Non-Compliance with the Accessibility Regulations
Many videos embedded in the site do not feature Audio Description so people with visual impairments cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Pre-Recorded)).
Many videos embedded in the site do not feature Sign Language Interpretation so people with auditory impairments cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.6 (Sign Language (Pre-Recorded)).
What we’re Doing to Improve Accessibility
As this is a newly published website we are open to and looking for feedback, especially regarding accessibility. We are planning to assess the feasibility of adding audio description and sign language interpretation to our videos.
